The Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Turkey for talks with Russia. The meeting is scheduled to begin in Istanbul at 19:00, 112.ua reports.
The talks will first take place in Ankara with the Turkish side, and then in Istanbul with the Russian side. The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
As reported by Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, the Russian delegation is headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Moscow expects that “the main day of the talks will be Wednesday, July 23.”
The day before, Peskov said that one should not expect a miracle from these talks.
