In accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Regulations on the National Assembly,” Vladimir Vardanyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, submitted his resignation on March 19, 2026.
If, within one week of the publication of his resignation, the member withdraws his resignation in writing, the Speaker of the National Assembly will issue a corresponding statement. If he does not withdraw his resignation, a protocol on the termination of his powers will be drawn up, signed and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly. The resignation is considered accepted from the moment the protocol is published.
It should be noted that Vladimir Vardanyan was nominated for the vacant position of judge of the Constitutional Court.
