This is a misunderstanding, I’m asking for a chance to take care of my son. Mother of the boys involved in the incident involving Pashinyan

“Please give me a chance to take care of my son until the investigation is completed,” said Gayane Minasyan, the mother of David Minasyan, the defendant in the incident involving Nikol Pashinyan, speaking to reporters in the courthouse courtyard.

She characterized the incident as a misunderstanding, noting that her sons attend Mass every Sunday.

“I’m asking for a chance to take care of my son; my sons attend Mass every Sunday. I’m simply asking for an impartial investigation so that I, as a mother, have the opportunity to take care of my son at home under my supervision until the court conducts its investigation, so that everything is done in accordance with the law. At the very least, his health and life will not be in danger. “I suspect my other son has pneumonia,” said David’s mother.

She said she had twin sons, whom she gave birth to at age 33, and raised them with great difficulty. She assured them that they are educated and well-behaved.

“Those who know them will say that they are cultured, educated boys – at home, at school, in their internships, at church, and during services. My son, David, was hit and kicked in church. There was a crush, and he wanted to stand still and pray,” she said, adding that her son was pushed, fell, got up, and his brother helped him.

Gayane Minasyan has not yet seen her son, David.

It should be noted that the decision to detain David Minasyan will be published soon.

It should be noted that an incident occurred on Sunday during a service at St. Anne’s Church, which Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also attended. As Pashinyan’s bodyguards cleared the way for him, the young man attempted to strike the prime minister. Three individuals have been charged in connection with the incident: brothers David and Mikael Minasyan and public figure Gevorg Gevorgyan. David Minasyan is accused of hooliganism and interfering with the lawful official or political activities of an official.

The other participants in the scandalous incident, David Minasyan’s brother Mikael Minasyan and Gevorg Gevorgyan, have been released. Gevorgyan was given bail of 5 million drams and a visitation ban, while Mikael Minasyan was only given a ban on his presence. He is accused of aiding and abetting these actions.

It should be added that Gevorgyan is accused of organizing the incident. However, Gevorgyan denies that the incident was organized and states that he does not accept the charges.
