Several representatives of the Armenian national boxing team made their debut in the professional ring.
Artur Bazeyan defeated Moldova’s Viktor Vakulia at the “Night of Champions” event organized by the International Boxing Federation in Yerevan. Bazeyan was very active from the very beginning and at the end of the 6th round, during his precise blows, the referee stopped the fight and awarded Bazeyan a technical knockout.
Member of the Armenian national boxing team Rafael Oganesyan defeated Georgian Otari Gogoberashvili.
Heavyweight Davit Chaloyan defeated Pakistan’s previously undefeated Teymur Khan in the 2nd round and advanced to the semi-finals of the IBA PRO World Cup.
In the main fight of the evening, Murad Gasiev, who recently received Armenian citizenship, also won by knockout, defeating Dane Kim Ljungqvist.
