At least 10 Israelis injured in Amsterdam attack by Palestinian supporters

At least 10 Israelis were injured in an attack by Palestinian fans after a soccer match in Amsterdam, three of whom could not be reached.

It is noted that law enforcement officers failed to protect the tourists. They were attacked by groups of masked men who chased and beat the Israelis outside the stadium.

Amsterdam police reported that five people were hospitalized. Sixty-two people were arrested after the incident. Police have launched an investigation.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry called on Israelis in Amsterdam not to leave their hotels. They were later informed that law enforcement officers were involved and it was now safe to travel to the airport. Israelis were urged to return home as soon as possible, and Israel increased the number of flights to bring its citizens home.

The leaders of Israel and the Netherlands condemned the attacks on fans of the Maccabi Tel Aviv football club.
