A new secretary has been appointed to Iran’s National Security Council.

Former Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan has been appointed the new secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

He replaces the late Ali Larijani.

It was previously reported that Larijani was killed in an Israeli attack.
