Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan has been charged with preparing terrorism, inciting mass unrest and seizing power. This was stated by lawyer Sergei Harutyunyan in an interview with journalists.
“This is another political persecution,” the lawyer said.
Sergey Harutyunyan noted that no weapons or ammunition were found during the search of Archbishop Galstanyan’s house.
“I saw one of the photographs published by the Investigative Committee, where a weapon is visible, and next to it a document for it. It is obvious that it belongs to a person who, for example, has a permit for this weapon,” he added.
He noted that, most likely, a petition for the arrest of Archbishop Bagrat will be filed.
