Armenia will face serious consequences if it violates the Washington agreements, Aliyev said in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel.
“It’s hard to say, I can only assume and hope that nothing will hinder this process. But, again, I don’t have absolute guarantees, since I’m not very familiar with Armenia’s domestic politics. We know that parliamentary elections will be held next summer. And we know that they are working on a new draft constitution. But if there is strong external interference, then yes, we can assume that this could undermine previously agreed issues,” he noted.
