Belgian police have arrested Federica Mogherini, former head of European diplomacy and rector of the College of Europe, on suspicion of fraud, AFP reports.
Earlier, Euroactive reported that Belgian police conducted searches at the EU diplomatic service headquarters in Brussels, as well as at the College of Europe in Bruges and private homes, as part of an investigation into the alleged misuse of EU funds.
