Donald Trump will visit the Gaza Strip

US President Donald Trump announced his intention to visit the Gaza Strip, Time magazine reports.

“I will visit. Yes, I will visit. You know, we have a World Council, and it has already been created. They offered to lead it,” he answered in an interview with Time magazine.

According to the previously published plan for the settlement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, the enclave was supposed to be under foreign control during the transition period. The “World Council”, as proposed in the plan, will be headed by Trump, and the names of the other members will be announced later. The document also states that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will join the Council. Trump believes that the “Council of Peace” will become a very influential group of people and will have significant influence in the Middle East.
