Former Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

Former Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will be sentenced to five years in prison.

He pleaded guilty, according to the Georgian Prosecutor General’s Office.

Garibashvili was also fined one million lari and ordered to return to the state the proceeds of his criminal activity, as well as the money seized during the search of his home.
