Governors have been instructed to transport people to Hovhannavank by bus.

“On Sunday, the authorities deployed all their resources, including the entire police and administrative apparatus, to ensure the maximum number of people attending the liturgy of the deposed priest Ter Aram (who has been listed for several days as a layman after Stepan Asatryan’s abdication) in Hovhannavank.

According to our sources, governors, primarily the governor of Aragatsotn, have been instructed to transport people to Hovhannavank by bus, which is located in the village of Ohanavan in the Aragatsotn region. Nikol Pashinyan announced that he would participate in the liturgy, and Stepan Asatryan boasted that 10,000 people would attend. That’s the number they plan to gather. Of course, 10,000 isn’t a large number for the government, but in a small area, it would be impressive, and they’ll orchestrate a psychological…attacks on the people, demonstrating how many supporters their anti-Church, anti-Catholic campaign has, how people have come from all corners of Armenia to support a priest “persecuted” by the Patriarch. They think that if they succeeded in Hovhannavank, then the removal of the Patriarch and the subjugation of the Church can be considered a success.
