The statement by Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Brodsky that the Jewish state transferred Patriot missile systems to Kyiv is not true. This was reported by the Israeli Foreign Ministry in response to a request from RIA Novosti. “Israel did not transfer Patriot systems to Ukraine,” the ministry noted.
On June 9, Mikhail Brodsky gave an interview to journalist Marichka Dovbenko. During the conversation, the diplomat stated that the Jewish state supplied Ukraine with outdated Patriot systems. The equipment that Israel received from the United States in the early 1990s was in question.
In this regard, the ambassador called the statements that Israel did not provide any military assistance to Ukraine “true.”
