Israeli strikes on Iran kill two Iranian soldiers

Two Iranian soldiers killed in Israeli attack on Iranian territory, Mehr reports.

Recall that in the Iranian capital Tehran, early on Saturday morning, the Tehran Provincial Air Defense Forces were activated to counter enemy targets.

According to a spokesman for the Tehran Provincial Air Defense Department, the sound heard in Tehran was related to the activation of the provincial air defense at three locations outside Tehran.

A little later, it became known that Israeli forces launched an attack on Iranian territory.

The Iranian Air Defense Forces issued a statement noting that “despite previous warnings from officials of the Islamic Republic to the illegal Zionist regime to avoid any adventurous actions, on Saturday morning the Tel Aviv regime attacked several military targets in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam, causing tensions.” While stating that the Israeli attack was successfully repelled by the country’s integrated air defense system, the ministry stressed that “the aggressive actions of the Zionists caused limited damage to several targets.” Israel itself said that it had achieved its goals in attacking Iran and warned Tehran against retaliation.
