The defender expressed the opinion that the public position of Archbishop Mikaela is very frightening to the government. “Naturally, I think that his isolation is the goal. Perhaps they eliminate obstacles that could prevent them from voting. I think so myself.”
As for Archbishop Mikhail’s statement that he will not run for office as prime minister, Zohrabyan replied. “Maybe they don’t believe in it, but maybe they are trying to do it for their own safety, because there is no other explanation. That this is politically motivated is a fact.
It should be noted that Archbishop Mikael Adzhapyan, the head of the Shirak Diocese, was arrested on June 28 in two parts, and then the term of detention was extended.
