Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed the release of a second group of hostages from the Gaza Strip and released their names, including Maxim Kharkin, a native of the Donbas region.
“The Israeli government welcomes the return of the hostages to their homeland… Authorities have informed their families that they have joined our forces in the Gaza Strip and will soon be leaving for Israel,” the statement read.
Kharkin, a native of the Donbas region, was also among the hostages released by the office.
