Nikol Pashinyan promises peace, but will bring enslavement and Azerbaijanization. Eduard Sharmazanov

Nikol Pashinyan promises peace, but will bring enslavement and Azerbaijanization, stated Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the Supreme Body of the Republican Party of Armenia and former Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly.

“During the 2021 election campaign, Nikol promised to return/de-occupy/Shushi, but on October 6, 2022, he recognized all of Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.

In the spring of 2020, he distributed “proud citizen’s passports” to citizens, showing Armenian territory from the banks of the Araks River to the Omar River, and now he’s distributing a map scaled down to 12,000 square kilometers.

On October 19, 2020, he stated that if Russia hadn’t intervened, Azerbaijan would have occupied Syunik, and today he blames Russia for all the losses.

In 2022, in Vladivostok, he was “impressed by Putin’s efficiency in resolving problems,” but today he’s only impressed by Aliyev’s demands.

He criticizes the CSTO, but receives orders from CSTO member Kazakhstan.

In September 2023, he declares that Armenia will not interfere in…” “He says that ethnic cleansing was effectively taking place in Artsakh, and today they’ve left weapons to Azerbaijan.

He says that the Artsakh elite fled, but the Artsakh elite, and in particular Presidents Arkady Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan, remained in Artsakh until the end and ultimately ended up in Baku as a result of Nikol’s inaction.

I said that Nikol promises peace, but will bring enslavement and Azerbaijanization,” Sharmazanov noted.
