Today, the Hraparak newspaper wrote that Ashkhen Aleksanyan, appointed consul in Austria, was arrested about two months ago upon returning to Armenia at the Zvartnots airport on suspicion of spying for Azerbaijan. The young woman was found to have documents, and she was suspected of spying for Azerbaijan.
After this, the NSS conducted a full-day search in the MFA building: computers were checked, documents were examined.
