The editorial office of the Armenian daily Alik in Iran was damaged by an Israeli strike.
In an interview with Pastinfo, the editor of the newspaper, Aram Shahnazaryan, noted that the strike hit several buildings further away from the editorial office, but caused damage to various buildings in the area.
1.5 years ago, I was in Iran to visit the editorial office of Alik, where I had quite frank meetings with the staff of the newspaper.
Professional and dedicated people, whom I remember meeting with great love and longing. I will never forget their warm welcome.
Overall, I have very warm memories of my visit to Iran and the meetings I held there.
I always remember and highly appreciate the special attitude and approaches of the Armenian community.
My support to friendly Iran, as well as to our compatriots living there, who have always enjoyed the warmth and respect of Iranians. My special support to the editorial board of the daily newspaper “Alik” headed by editor Aram Shahnazaryan.
