More than 7.2 billion drams from the state budget were allocated in 2024 for the needs of the staff of the National Assembly of Armenia. This was announced on June 6 by Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan during joint sessions of the standing parliamentary committees, while discussing the annual report on the “Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2024.”
According to him, implementation amounted to 97.7%. These funds were allocated for the implementation of one program consisting of eight activities. “In particular, the National Assembly made procurements totaling 840 million drams. Of this amount, 580 million drams were for single-source procurements,” Hovhannisyan stated.
