There are three dozen political prisoners in Armenia. This testifies to the authoritarian approaches of the established regime. Tigran Abrahamyan

At a briefing with journalists, Tigran Abrahamyan, a deputy of the NA “Armenia” faction, reminded that his colleague Artur Sargsyan is not participating in the autumn session of the National Assembly, as he is under illegal detention.

“The two court hearings held during that period also showed that the accusations brought against Artur Sargsyan do not reflect reality in any way. These are false propaganda approaches of the government, which have nothing to do with reality,” the deputy noted.

According to Abrahamyan, there are about three dozen political prisoners in our country today. “This testifies to the authoritarian approaches of the established regime. Many citizens are not only illegally imprisoned, but are also subject to criminal prosecution, even though they are not in prison, political persecution is being carried out against them,” he emphasized.
