The Feast of the First Armenian Enlighteners was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Apostolic Church.
On November 29, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the feast of the first Armenian enlighteners – the Holy Apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew.

According to the kontakion of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, this feast was declared the feast day of the First-Begotten God, Saint Geghard.

To mark the feast, the Holy and Immortal Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Apostolic Church. Diocesan leaders of the Armenian Church, monks of the Mother See, and numerous Armenian pilgrims attended the sacred ceremony.

During the Divine Liturgy, Saint Geghard, born of the Mother of God, was brought to the Cathedral, headed by His Holiness Garegin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
