Trump considers the creation of a Palestinian state possible: Palestinian Ambassador to Russia

Palestine is aware that US President Donald Trump is speaking cautiously about the possibility of creating a Palestinian state. This was stated by Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafez Nofal in an interview with TASS.

“We know that President Trump is cautiously mentioning a Palestinian state in the draft UN Security Council resolution,” he noted.

The ambassador emphasized that the only feasible and truly achievable solution remains a two-state solution, which is the only way to end violence and tension. “Israel understands this well,” the diplomat continued.

He also noted that the positions of Arab countries, in particular Saudi Arabia, as well as Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and all Arab and Islamic states, as well as the special position of Russia and China in the Security Council, as well as the growing number of international recognitions of the State of Palestine, including European countries, Canada and Australia, “contribute to the advancement of a two-state solution as the only accessible and feasible way to end this conflict and cycles of violence.”
