US President Donald Trump arrived on Capitol Hill early Tuesday morning to deliver a speech at the annual House Republican Conference.
Just before his speech, Trump vowed to launch an investigation into the use of a fountain pen in the White House during the presidency of his predecessor, Joe Biden.
Trump criticized his predecessor for allowing illegal immigrants into the United States while speaking to the press.
“Who signed that?” Trump said. “No sane person would sign that,” Trump added. “You know who signed that? The left-wing lunatics that ran our country signed it with a fountain pen.”
Trump added that Democrats were “disappointed” in Biden’s election because “they wanted Bernie Sanders, and two weeks later they said, ‘Wait a minute, this is a gift.'”
According to the US President, Democrats allegedly realized that Biden “would do anything” and began using a fountain pen for everything.
According to Trump, Biden would never approve of any of the open borders. Trump then promised to launch an investigation into the use of the fountain pen. “And now you’ve found out and you’re going to find out what happened because Biden… look, it’s a very sad thing that happened, but we’re going to start looking into all of this with whoever signed this law,” he said.
