The fourth Security Council meeting this year will be held on July 30 under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
As reported by ermenihaber.am, the pro-government Turkish newspaper Türkiye gazetesi notes that the Security Council meeting will discuss the “growing tensions” between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus.
The agenda of the Security Council meeting will include the process of disarming the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which Turkey has recognized as a terrorist organization, the latest developments in Syria, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and the purchase of European-made Eurofighter fighter jets.
