Two killed in US school shooting

Two people were killed and six were injured, according to updated information, as a result of a shooting that occurred on Monday at a school in the city of Madison, Wisconsin. This was reported on Monday by local police chief Sean Barnes, whose speech was broadcast by American television channels.

“We know that a total of three people were killed, including the shooter,” he said. According to him, the deceased were a teacher and a high school student. Another six people were injured, two of them are in critical condition. Barnes specified that all the victims were students at the school.

The police have already established the identity of the shooter, but Barnes did not disclose his name, gender and age, citing the ongoing investigation. The police chief only added that the shooter was also a high school student at the school.

Barnes noted that the motives of the attacker have not yet been established.

Earlier, it was reported that at least four people were killed.
