Azerbaijan did not help Israel in the war against Iran, said Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
“We need evidence. Some say something, but they must provide us with accurate data. We do not have any data yet. The Azerbaijani government itself clearly states that nothing like this happened, and we do not have any evidence that we could provide yet. In addition, we must remember that Azerbaijan is a Muslim country, our neighbor, very close to us culturally and our friend,” he noted.
“As of today, we have no evidence that Azerbaijan helped Israel during the 12-day war in Iran,” he stressed.
