Adviser to the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan has been dismissed. This news might not have been worth noting if the Azerbaijani media had not reported that the corresponding decree was signed not by the President of Azerbaijan, but by the President of Turkey. Secretary of the Honor faction Tigran Abrahamyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“No matter how Aliyev tries to distance himself from Turkey in terms of military successes, presenting himself as a regional player, it is the official circles of Turkey that have confirmed the active participation of the Turkish army and its intelligence in the modernization of the Azerbaijani army and military operations against Armenia and Artsakh.
“While the Armenian regime is considering reducing military service, possibly reducing the military budget and pursuing an “ostrich policy” regarding existing problems, Azerbaijan is increasing its military potential with the active participation of Turkey,” Abrahamyan wrote.
