Ahead of COP17, the Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan met with the President of the Environmental Protection Authority of the Sultanate of Oman, Abdullah Ali. Possibilities of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of biodiversity protection, restoring ecosystems and increasing resilience to climate change were discussed. There was also a reference to the COP17 agenda, emphasizing international cooperation and joint efforts in achieving the global goals of biodiversity conservation.
