The growth of exports from Armenia to the European Union is unstable, so forecasts based on its continuity are unfounded. This is mentioned in the report of the Eurasian rating agency. "If in 2025 compared to 2024, the export to the EU has increased, then, on the contrary, it is decreasing for two years. Therefore, relying on such growth and long-term conclusions are at least speculative," the document says. At the same time, the researchers note that due to political tensions, exports to Russia have decreased, instead, supplies to Belarus have increased. "Apparently, a part of the Armenian producers had to use Belarus as a transit link, as a result of which the cost price of the product increased and the competitiveness fell," the authors emphasize.
