I cannot and do not want to comment on the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, because that is their business. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on October 22 at the traditional briefing following the government session. "We have our separate relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey, and, as I have already said, we will work in that direction," the head of the government noted. It should be reminded that relations between Baku and Ankara were strained after the hijab was banned in Azerbaijani schools. Representatives of Turkey's ruling party and one of the advisors of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan criticized the policy, calling it a restriction of religious rights. Baku reacted harshly to the criticism, stressing that Turkey should not interfere in Azerbaijan's internal affairs.
