Ukraine is ready for negotiations with Russia in any format and in any country, including the meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelensky announced this on the X social network, informing that the USA proposed to hold a meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations already next week. "We are ready to negotiate anywhere and in any format: trilateral, bilateral, quadrilateral, "five plus" format. it doesn't matter. The important thing is that there should be peace," the President of Ukraine wrote. Zelensky emphasized that he expects the strengthening of US pressure on Putin, not on Kiev. According to him, otherwise such an approach will be unfair. The President of Ukraine also announced the need to create a separate European channel for negotiations with Russia. In his opinion, all possible diplomatic channels should be used to stop the war. In addition, Kiev intends to hold separate negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on issues of maritime and food security, as well as discuss the situation with representatives of Middle Eastern countries. According to Zelensky, the USA is considering the possibility of holding a tripartite meeting with the participation of Ukraine and Russia. Among the possible platforms, he mentioned the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Another option is a meeting in the USA, during the G20 summit, or in one of the European countries. At the same time, Zelensky noted that neither Moscow nor Washington has confirmed the holding of such a meeting. According to him, European countries are also starting contacts on this issue.
