Russian law enforcement agencies have appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia regarding the Spayka case.

Russian law enforcement agencies have appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia for legal assistance in the criminal case against Spayka, the country’s largest agricultural transporter. The Prosecutor’s Office reported this in response to a written request from Radio Liberty. The Prosecutor’s Office declined to provide the grounds for or details of the request.

More than 100 Spayka trucks have been blocked in Russia for approximately six weeks. During this time, Spayka has not provided details about the legal proceedings against the company in Russia. One of the company’s directors, Karen Baghdasaryan, previously stated that the lawyers had been unable to obtain official responses. Spayka called the Russian side’s actions “aggressive.”
