The UK and France want to deploy troops near key Ukrainian infrastructure, including ports and nuclear power plants, as part of a settlement to the conflict, an unnamed Western official said, reports The Economist.
As per this official, this military contingent—according to the plans of London and Paris—shall be deployed in Ukrainian cities, and not on the frontline in the east of the country.
