At least 9 out of 10 children under the age of 5 in the Gaza Strip suffer from one or more infectious diseases, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) office in the occupied Palestinian territories reported.
“The health situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with 9 out of 10 children under the age of 5 suffering from one or more infectious diseases,” the report said.
The document also noted that 25% of women in the Gaza Strip suffer from skin diseases and other health problems.
