Representative of Armenia Manvel Khndzrtsyan (57 kg) reached the quarterfinals of the World Youth Championship (under 23 years), which is taking place in Tirana.
In the qualifying stage, Khndzrtsyan defeated Azerbaijani Vasif Bagirov with a score of 12:2. In the 1/8 finals, the Armenian athlete defeated his opponent from Turkey with a score of 11:8.
Levik Mikaelyan (61 kg) will fight for the bronze medal.
