Fight at Shengavit District Administration: Who is Responsible

Today, the press reported that an employee at the Shengavit District Administration was cursed at and beaten.
According to the woman, the district administration employees used violence after she demanded her salary.
Yerevan resident Aida Mkhitaryan was holding a protest in front of the Government building today to raise her voice of protest, presenting her problem.
What happened, why was the employee treated like that? We tried to find out by contacting the head of the Shengavit administrative district, Tigran Gabrielyan, who tried to assure us that Aida Mkhitaryan is a sanitation worker who did not “behave properly.”

“The incident occurred on February 23, it has a background. We have received quite a few complaints from residents about that woman, and we have also recorded those complaints ourselves, regarding her drinking alcohol in the presence of residents at her workplace. There was also a case when she beat a child herself,” said our interlocutor.

According to Gabrielyan, the employee was absent from work quite often.

“The video also shows that she comes right during a work discussion, curses, one of our employees curses back, and then our employees, without beating her, simply invite her out, like, probably, in the form of a stampede,” added the head of the administrative district.

When asked what punishment was imposed on the employees who cursed the woman and invited her out, Gabrielyan noted that the incident occurred in February, the employees received a verbal reprimand, and we also reached an agreement so that such an incident would not happen again.
