In the Kara region of eastern Turkey, a ceremony of exchanging the state flags of the two countries took place in preparation for the joint military exercises “Heydar Aliyev-2026”, which will be held by Azerbaijan and Turkey, reports Ermenihaber.am.
The ceremony was attended by the commander of the Separate United Forces of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, Lieutenant General Kenan Seidov, who also gave a speech. The latter emphasized the strategic importance of joint military exercises and wished the army success. After the ceremony, the soldiers left from Nakhichevan to the Kara educational center.
According to the source, the purpose of the training is to plan and conduct operations in accordance with the nature of modern wars, exchange information on comprehensive combat support and tactical coordination, and also develop the capabilities of combat operations and special operations in various difficult conditions.
