The kiosks on Shinararner Street are being demolished not so that another person will take over the space, but to return it to the residents of Ajapnyak administrative district. Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan announced this at the session of the Yerevan Council of Elders. According to him, many owners of stalls have quietly taken out their property. The official added that they were given time. Earlier, he announced that the area where the said stalls are located belongs to the community. "There will be a green zone that will serve the community. If there are forces that are against it, let them organize discussions," explained Pambukhchyan.
