On September 30, the third session of the public council attached to the RA Minister of High-tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence took place, with the participation of companies, startups, as well as large and international companies operating in Armenia. with the participation of forms. During the session, the current vision of the formation of the national ecosystem of AB and the approaches to the development of the artificial intelligence regulation project were discussed. Reference was made to the effective use of computing resources, including the computing capacity acquired under the contract signed between the RA government and the Firebird AI company. The participants emphasized the development of computing infrastructures, attracting specialists and talent, support for startups and research, protection of intellectual property, regulatory innovation and state system. Expanding the application of AB. The second main topic of the session was the preparation of the AB settlement project. It was noted that at this stage there is no preliminary draft yet, and the goal is to collect proposals and observations from various representatives of the sector in order to shape further approaches to regulation. The safe and responsible use of AI, the protection of citizens' rights and accountability, as well as the maintenance of an environment conducive to innovation were discussed. As a result of the meeting, the proposals and observations of the participants were summarized, which will be taken into account in the further work on the formation and regulation of the national ecosystem of AB. Consultations with industry representatives, the private sector, startups, the research community and other stakeholders will continue.
