The owners of stalls in Yerevan's Shinararner Street have been protesting for several days, demanding that their shops not be demolished, as they are legal and have ownership certificates. "Yesterday and today they came from the district administration and verbally said that our shops should be demolished. We said submit a paper, they said we will present it, but there is no paper. It takes a day for people to be able to empty their shops, if of course the paper is legal. But they didn't present us with any papers, they told us verbally that we are coming to demolish. There are various shops there: there is a bakery, meat, shoes, telephone, vegetable shops. In total, there are 80-100 stalls in that area", said Davit Nahapetyan, one of the owners. He also mentioned that they managed to apply to the court, asking to oblige the Mayor of Yerevan to refrain from any actions aimed at the demolition or dismantling of the real estate at 15/14 Shinararner St., Building 15. At the same time, they submitted a motion to apply a measure of securing the claim, asking to temporarily satisfy the claimant's demand, to oblige the Mayor of Yerevan to refrain from demolishing or destroying the real estate at 15/14 Shinararner St., Building 15. from performing any editing operations.
