Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the head of the Armenian mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Alexander Timan. This is reported by the Government. The Prime Minister emphasized the close cooperation formed between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the IMF and the programs implemented jointly in our country. In this regard, Nikol Pashinyan added that the programs implemented with the IMF contribute to the effective implementation of the RA Government's reform agenda. Alexander Timan emphasized the efficiency of interaction with the Government of the Republic of Armenia and noted that the IMF is also interested in the consistent promotion of the joint agenda. The interlocutors discussed issues related to current cooperation and future projects. Reference was made to macroeconomic developments and the main directions of fiscal policy. Thoughts were also exchanged on the processes taking place in the region, including infrastructure projects.
