Leave the cars coming from the provinces at the entrance to Yerevan, continue the journey by bus. this is the "magnificent" proposal of Suren Grigoryan, the deputy mayor of Yerevan, to overcome the transportation crisis in the capital. Former NA deputy Garnik Danielyan wrote about this on his Facebook page. In particular, he noted: "This is how Yerevan Municipality fights against traffic jams. not by finding effective solutions for organizing traffic, but by putting forward ideas to limit the movement of citizens. I wonder who will guard the entrances to the capital? Will they create new positions for this? And why should our compatriots living in the region, who come to Yerevan for work, study or other needs, suffer? What is this, if not a discriminatory approach towards citizens? In addition, how will you decide who is a resident of the region and who is from Yerevan? If, for example, a resident of Yerevan returns to the capital from the region, will you force him to take a bus? And how will the problem be solved at night, when public transport does not work? It turns out that the population is to blame for all the problems of the capital. The "responsible" for air pollution is the king of Argisht, who chose this very area for the foundation of the city. Our compatriots will remember the words of the mayor's father. "Red Lines" should make 500,000 so that every poor person doesn't end up with an "Opel". Perhaps the author of these words will carry out this task at the entrance gates of the city. In fact, we are reaping the fruits of the tolerance shown for years towards this kind of attitude today. Decisions are made every day, which do not solve the existing problems, but limit the rights of our compatriots. Neither the decision to send children to school early in the morning, nor the increase in fees for "red lines" gave results. And now it's the turn of the residents of the region. Today it is our compatriots living in the region, but whose turn will it be tomorrow? What new absurd limitation will the government invent in order to put the responsibility of its own governance failures on the citizens? In order to get Yerevan out of the transportation crisis, systemic solutions are needed, not proposals that limit the rights of citizens and create tension within the public. One thing is clear. each such "proposal" deepens public discontent. People are convinced that the unelected mayor and his team have overthrown the administration of the city. Our beloved capital has been saved from illiterate management and incompetent city authorities.
