I know that Turkey will be represented at the COP17 conference at the ministerial level, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during the briefing after the Cabinet meeting on October 15. As for Azerbaijan, at the moment the head of the government has not received any confirmed information about its participation. He also answered the question about corruption risks. "Where money is spent, such risks are always present, and our task is to manage those risks. For this, there are relevant circles and control bodies. Not to mention that the Government took all these risks into account when making decisions and created new procedures within the framework of UN procedures," said Pashinyan. According to him, the only question is how appropriate it was to hold this event in Armenia. "I find that this is a very important contribution to the development of the Republic of Armenia. Tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises have been given the opportunity to earn money," the Prime Minister emphasized. He mentioned that more than 15 thousand people will arrive in Armenia within the framework of COP17 in October. According to him, this will allow to increase the recognition of the country. "We are convinced that every penny spent will end up in the pockets of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and will return to the state budget," concluded the head of the government.
