British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke to US President Donald Trump on Monday evening, Starmer’s press secretary informed, Reuters reports.
This is the latest in a series of telephone conversations between the leaders of the two countries.
The spokesperson for the British Prime Minister declined to comment on the question of whether Trump had informed Starmer of his plans on the provision of military assistance to Ukraine.
The Prime Minister and President Trump are committed to the same outcome: the establishment of a secure and lasting peace in Ukraine, the spokesperson said.
