Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey tomorrow on a visit, said Fahrettin Altun, head of the communications department of the Turkish presidential administration, the Azerbaijani APA reports.
According to him, the visit will take place at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to Altun, current regional and world events will be discussed at the talks in the Presidential Complex.
There will also be an exchange of views on the steps that need to be taken to further strengthen the “brotherly” relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
In addition, as part of the visit, the opening ceremony of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline, the foundation of which was laid by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey on September 25, 2023, will be held via video link.
