India and France have signed an agreement to supply India with 26 French Rafale Marine fighters, the Indian Defense Ministry said.
The Indian Navy will receive 22 single-seat and 4 two-seat fighters. Their delivery will be completed by 2030. The crews will undergo training in both countries.
In 2016, the Indian Air Force received 36 Rafale fighters under an agreement with France.
Since 2015, France has been exporting Rafale fighters to India, Qatar, Egypt, Greece, the UAE, Indonesia and Croatia, BFMTV reports.
