US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would consider a possible meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia during his visit to the kingdom in mid-May.
On the South Lawn of the White House, reporters asked the head of state whether he intended to meet his Russian counterpart during his planned tour. “I don’t know, we’ll have to think about it, but I haven’t thought about it,” the US president replied.
“We’ll be going to Saudi Arabia very soon,” the head of state added.
