Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov said that companies from the Russian Federation are actively interested in participating in the restoration of Karabakh. This was reported by the Minval Politika publication.
Evdokimov spoke about his visit to the city of Stepanakert during the presence of peacekeepers there. He noted that he saw both the old and the already restored part of the city.
“Karabakh simply amazed me. Amazing nature, especially in Lachin. This is a truly beautiful region,” the ambassador emphasized.
The diplomat noted that the Astrakhan region is building a kindergarten in Karabakh – by summer it will be donated to Azerbaijani children. According to Evdokimov, 24 Russian companies have already said that they would like to take part in restoration projects in the region.
