Tigran Abrahamyan: It is not the criminal who is being prosecuted, but the journalist

A criminal case has been opened against journalist Anush Mirzoyan for covering Pashinyan’s visit to Syunik four years ago.
The journalist is accused of sending “greetings” to Pashinyan and covering his adventures that day in all their glory.
In other words, the government considers this visit and the events that took place there a crime, and its coverage – aiding and abetting a crime.
One day, they will be joined by journalists covering the 44-day war in cases of varying degrees of seriousness.
Anyone who covered a failed operation, such as Operation Lele Tepe, during which the government is looking for various types of crimes, can easily call the journalists who covered it accomplices to the crime and subject them to a serious article.
Journalism in our country has become extremely dangerous, and these and many other examples are a clear confirmation of this.
